Guppy Max: Monday Night Open Water Swims - Lake Travis **Free!** Back Arrow

Guppy Max Monday night open water swims provide an opportunity for people to get together and work on open water swim skills, distance, etc.

All details can be found on Facebook. Reminder e-mails will still be sent out on Fridays but you will only receive them if you are part of the “Guppy Max – Lake Travis Swim” group on Facebook. To join the group on Facebook, follow these instructions:

1. Create a Facebook login - www.facebook.com
2. Search for group “Guppy Max – Lake Travis Swim” – Austin, TX.
3. Request to join the group.
4. I will approve your request.
5. You will have access to group info, swim location, etc.


 

The Fred Ride: Saturday Morning Bike Ride **Free!**Back Arrow

Fred Ride on SaturdaysWant to ride with a great group of people? Check out "The Fred Ride", hosted by Fred Huang. This no-drop ride starts from the Arboretum in Austin, Texas and ranges in distance week to week (20-60 miles). Intensity ranges from base effort to fast/interval work or hills - it just depends on the goals of the group or individuals for that week.

Ride details are e-mailed out a few days before the Saturday ride. If you would like to be added to the distribution list, please contact me.

Fred Ride on SaturdaysAustin offers plenty of free training opportunities. Check out these resources! Since workout group meeting times and locations change, check with the organization sponsoring the workout before you go.

Wednesday Night'er - 6:30pm every Wednesday , workout locations vary.

Jack and Adams Free Workouts - various days and times, bike rides/core/run workouts.

Yoga Vida - 6:30pm every Friday, yoga class.

Mellow Johnny's - 9am every Saturday, mountain bike riding.

Mellow Johnny's - 6pm every Wednesday, bike maintenance class.

Mellow Johnny's - 6pm every Tuesday, ladie's only 2 hour bike ride.

Austin Tri-Cyclist - 8:30am every Saturday, group bike ride.

Hill Country Running Company - 8:00am every Thursday, coached run workout.

Hill Country Trail Runners - 6:00pm every Tuesday, club trail run. Join hctrLIST for updates.

 


 

What the Hell 100: Annual Winter Bike Ride **Free!**Back Arrow

What The Hell 100 Bike RideWhat is the "What the Hell 100"? An excuse to ride long in the triathlon off season! Started in 2004, we get together in December to take in the breathtaking scenery of the Texas Hill Country in and around Austin. And while most of us are not in "race shape", we still have a great time!
